FitBoyMyles respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect when you use fitboymyles.com and our coaching services, why we collect it, how we protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the requirements of Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
FitBoyMyles ("we", "us", "our") is a weight loss coaching business based in Ghana. For the purposes of Act 843, FitBoyMyles is the data controller: we decide how and why your personal data is used, and we are responsible for protecting it.

This policy applies to personal data we collect through fitboymyles.com, the online Nutrition Guide, our sign-up and payment forms, and when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media. Other websites we link to, including Paystack, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and X, have their own privacy policies.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build marketing profiles of visitors.
Information about your health is special personal data under Act 843 and gets extra protection. We only collect it when you choose to give it, so that Coach Myles can plan meals and training that are safe for you. By giving it, you consent to us using it for that purpose only. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, although we may then be unable to provide some services safely.
Our services are general fitness and nutrition coaching. They are not medical advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication, please speak to a doctor before starting a new eating or exercise plan.

We never sell or rent your personal data. We do not make decisions about you using automated processing alone.
Access is limited to people and services that need it:
Our service providers may only use your data to provide their service to us, and must keep it secure.
Photos and results: we only publish a client's photos, story or results on our website or social media with that client's permission.
Some of our providers, including Cloudflare, Paystack, Google and Meta, may store or process data in other countries. Where this happens, we rely on established providers that apply strong security and contractual data protection safeguards, so your data stays protected to a standard comparable to Act 843.
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including:

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
fbm_access): keeps the Nutrition Guide unlocked on your device. It is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking.We do not use advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time, but you will then need to unlock the guide again.
Under Act 843, you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first, for example by checking the phone number you used. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 21 days at the latest. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
We only send you messages about services you have asked for or signed up to. We will not send you promotional messages without your agreement, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
If a security incident affects your personal data, we will act quickly to contain it and, as required by Act 843, notify the Data Protection Commission and the people affected as soon as reasonably possible, with guidance on any steps you should take.
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the website.
